No, it hasn't passed yet. I do believe there's a hearing for it tomorrow though which is why the food trucks are trying to collect as many signatures on petitions as they can from those opposed to it. Here's the link to the online one:

This is most certainly not a well-constructed building. The elevators are constantly broken and they took major shortcuts all over the place.

I would doubt it. It's owned by the same owners of the previous restaurant in the space, Le Petit Marche. They went in a new direction very soon after a couple of DOH closures.
Not shocking. Their tacos are brutal. Love the rest of the food offerings at the flea though.

When they were first being shown I slipped and fell on that hard metal staircase after coming in from a rain-soaked roof deck. Boy did that leave a mark.
Loved the layout but a bit too pricey and thought I'd feel claustrophobic after a while being stuck in that back apt with the only light coming in through that atrium.

This is a 1br that's been converted into a 2br. I was intrigued until I saw that there's only 1 full bath. Just not practical at all.

I've looked at a few units in the building and they did do a good job on the fixtures. I found the 2 bedrooms just too small with the second bedroom feeling especially cramped. No chance of ever opening your windows being that close to the bridge either.

From what I understand, the food trucks do pay a licensing fee to the city as well.
It would be the selective enforcement of the law which is troubling. As DIBS said, UPS, FedEx, etc. have an agreement with the city to pay a certain amount to the city and chalk the tickets up to their cost of doing business. There are plenty of people all over the city that use metered parking while they work and run out every couple hours to feed the meter.
The trucks are really doing nothing different but would be singled out under the new law. While I would still hate it, the only fair approach if it passed would be to have it applicable across the board not just to food trucks.
