EVERYONE is a designer!
And since I am, in fact, a designer – and a brander - here's my take.
Not a problem to combine modern and old fashioned. It works. Don't overthink the flea.
Nice idea to expand the concept into a circus - maybe a poster by the same illustrator? Maybe there are a BUNCH of fleas (a flea family for instance) and various applications.
That's your best bet - expand the flea concept.

Don't you love how people can hate something that have never been part of? I think there's a word for that...
Listen, Fort Greene (and Clinton Hill) is a perfect environment for this kind of collective. Yes, you can join for the savings (substantial). Yes, you can join for the community. But you get both at any rate. And you get neither at a conventional market.
PSFC is excited about us starting a coop. Tish James and our local community organizations are behind us. They all want to help. So if you are interested in helping out yourself, get on the team.
You can email me or Kathryn Zarczynski at thehill.editorial@gmail.com
We're getting a lot of support. We especially want to hear now from Coop members who are interested in this effort.

I welcome the Times Blog and the professionalism of Andy Newman to boot. I met with him several times in the last month or so offering any help I could. I see the relationship as synbiotic.
Andy is today's new man. Tomorrow when the next new man arrives will be heaped with your snotty sarcasm and vile humor.
I am dismayed and embarrassed by most of the comments submitted by folks I assume are my neighbors. I expected more. Do you think you own Fort Greene Clinton Hill?
