Back With a Bang sells trinkets of all sorts: from some of the coolest vintage tees you've ever seen to kitschy salt and pepper shakers. We sat down with vendor Angela Wieland, who shares her booth with EAT Records down in the vault at Skylight One Hanson, and asked her a few questions about the Flea and her stuff.
What was one of your favorite sales?
I enjoy the people that come back on a weekly basis just to see what I have. I have some "regulars," if you will. It's always interesting to me when I have these unusual pieces for six months and all of a sudden there's this one person who says, "Oh my God, I can't live without that." Those are always my favorite sales.
Do you have a favorite Flea vendor?
I love Camel Girl next to me, it's always really well curated.
Describe your booth as an elaborate metaphor.
In with the old, out with the new.
We agree: The new seems so drab and boring next to Back With a Bang's amazing vintage finds.
