Streetscapes
Christopher Gray's "Streetscapes" column in the Times Real Estate section this week is about the second lives of the city's many majestic banks, including the Williamsburgh Savings Bank—aka One Hanson. The online version features an awesome video shot at the Sunday Flea, check it out. (At the end Gray tries on a pair of vintage X-Ray Spex.) Good times!
We took the above photo during load-in on the first (freezing) Flea at One Hanson. We've seen the same vantage point on a zillion blogs since—such a good shot. The Times version does it right.
