What: Keavy's smiling face is a Flea fixture, and her Kumquat Cupcakery has been warming the bellies of Fleasters literally since Day One. With flavor faves like Maple Bacon, Red Velvet, and Chocolate Pistachio, she's become the mini-cupcake queen in a land of cupcake copycats. Keavy also helped pioneer the Flea as test market, trying out new combos on unsuspecting passersby—last week she baked the Lemon and Lavender mini (above) for the first time. (Did you try one?)

How much: A buck each is the Kumquat way!

What else: You may have sampled the Chocolate Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter-Banana-Honey, Blueberry, or Dark Chocolate—and come back for more.

Where from: Keavy uses local fruit, and with summer nearly official, look out for Strawberry, Orange Poppy Seed, and Chocolate Blueberry, while they last.

When+Where: Saturdays in Fort Greene, Sundays at One Hanson, and online at kumquatcupcakery.com.
