So Cheesy!

Some new folks are joining the Flea food fleet this weekend at One Hanson. You got your Milk Truck NYC—grilled cheese sammies (above) of local/yummy origin—and you got your Kors d'Oeuvres, homemade dips in 6 deelish varieties.

Keith did a tasting at Flea HQ last month, lulling us into a prolonged food/cheese coma with his Breakfast Sandwich (Wisconsin gruyere, egg, caramelized onions, rye), Ham + Cheese (country ham, vermont cheddar, Coleman's mustard, rosemary pullman), and a dessert sammy with bittersweet chocolate and orange marmalade on sourdough pullman. Incapacitated via bread and cheese, we limply signed off on his participation, confident that Fleasters would shell out $5.50-$7.50 for a grilled cheese with heart, soul, and well-selected ingredients. Right? New York mag likes him. See you on line.

Korey took an hour off from his Isaac Mizrahi day job to drop off his 6 dips at Gifted last month, and we spent the rest of the afternoon savoring the mix of Kors d'Oeuvres' (genius name) flavors and textures, which are straight-ahead but really well-done—a Flea foodie principle of sorts. The Blue Cheese dip? Outstanding. Onion dip? Awesome. Spinach and Artichoke? Totally good.

We're not crazy dip people even, but for whatever reason we have a good feeling about Korey and his devotion to dips and spreads, and feel like the on-the-spot or party-pack-to-go options are good for Fleasters. So we enkourage you to sample, savor, and spread.

Kors d'Oeuvres are inside the vault (downstairs) on Saturday only, and Milk Truck are in back (through the vault, with the other foodies now) both days. (Here's this weekend's full vendor layout.)
