Charlie, the 7-year-old wunderkind who basically rules the Flea, struck out on her own Saturday with a fortune-telling booth (in her parents' Anodyne booth, near the lobster rolls) that did a brisk business all day. With the recession-proof price of a quarter, Charlie displayed a mastery of economics that spilled over into the realm of soothsaying. Quite possibly the cutest girl in the world, Charlie was dead serious in both her channeling of the higher planes of consciousness--and her swami style sense. (Leopard hat!) It goes without saying that this addition to the Flea has a bright future.
