Kyle is our Sunday Bridge Flea manager. We met him through a job posting on this here blog, his dad is an old-school flea dealer (Brimfield, etc.), and Kyle stuck with us through the chilly winter market days and has become a favorite of our vendors. Now if he could just keep track of his keys a little better...

So we were shocked (shocked!) to see Kyle's beaming mug in the Brooklyn Paper today--as the winner of their Brooklyn Burger contest! He now moves on to the NY Food + Wine Festival's "Burger Bash" this fall in Dumbo, with Rachel Ray as MC. The Flea always remains neutral, but let's just say we'll be rooting for Kyle as first among equals.
