What's New?

Daphne%20Fitzpatrick.jpg
Daphne Fitzpatrick, a sculptor and Yale professor by day, enters the realm of the Flea Sunday, with her collection of quirky objects, lamps, thrift store paintings, and bric-a-brac in tow (above). Throw in some mid-century lamps, Steelcase tables, and a few Eames chairs, and you've got a dream vendor in the making! B3

Trove.jpgBucks County (PA) babes Meg, Christine, and Rebecca launched Trove in 2005, repurposing architectural salvage into cool bookshelves and armoires, updating quirky Victorian chairs with mod prints and hand silk screened linen (right), and rewiring every alabaster lamp that came their way. They'll be right at home among our crew of rejuvenators (Chairloom, Revival, Nightwood, ama home, Barntiques), welcome them warmly. B13

Stephen Antonson used to sell mid-century furniture and lighting to shops in the city, but now that he's out of that game, what do with a storage unit full of chairs, tables, lamps, and photographs? Find out in C5.

Droop%20Light.jpgKyle and Kasia, an industrial designer and fine artist, respectively, who met at Pratt, formed KPKC Design in 2006, and they've designed some really cool, kinda quirky lamps, furniture, and accessories since. These include the popular "Droop Light" (right), which is made from a reclaimed bottle that's heated until it starts to melt. Cool! Find those and more, like elegant mosaic tables, in lovely L15.
